Mental Toughness and Resilience (MTR) training is necessary for any athlete to become their best. The preparation it takes to confront unforeseen obstacles along that journey is the difference between overcoming them or falling to that pressure and anxiety. CoachBobbyJackson is a gifted master at discovering and empowering the identity in athletes and giving them the tools and confidence to be victorious in the face of adversity.
We believe that when athletes have a strong knowledge they take full responsibility for the success of themselves on others. This discovery is life changing and the starting point on the journey of purpose.
We believe the journey towards our best selves does not happen alone. When athletes surround themselves with support that hold them accountable to their identity as well as provide necessary assistance in times of need, a pattern of consistency happens which builds sustainable success.
We believe when athletes are properly prepared for the challenges ahead, the chances to be victorious in those moments increases. The ability to discern potential challenges before they happen, acquire the right education for an advantageous response, prepare with intentionality, and execute flawlessly, is what establishes an air of confidence that is contagious!
We believe that adversity does not happen without giving us the option to choose how we will respond. When athletes display emotional control and manage their attitude with precision, it gives them the ability to stay focused on the task at hand to outlast the competition.
We believe how we choose to communicate is a reflection of the depth of self identity and awareness to the challenges around us. When an athlete is skilled in advocating for themselves, shows sensitivity to personal body language, and speaks through the power of understanding and not selfishness, they are able to navigate through any situation.
We believe that no success is a personal one, but rather it includes many others involved and affected by this process. An athlete that attracts success does not resist the virtue of patience, have trouble allowing others to take lead, or feel slighted in anyway experiencing others "getting theirs" before themselves. Instead a mentally tough and resilient athlete uses these experiences in the journey as building blocks to learn from and discover how great they can be.
For that athlete that is struggling to get their mental toughness to match their physical ability and potential.
For that position group that is trying to come together and build a bond and create an identity.
For that team that is establishing a culture of accountability and selfless work ethic.
